View Mode Aspect Ratio

Hello,

I had to set a specific story size in order to fit my SL project into our webpage. We work with view modes inside the SL and sometimes I need to record a bigger screen, however holding shift doesn't always keep the aspect ratio locked and leads to the view mode not covering the whole slide. 

Has anyone else seen this?

Is there any fix or work around? Since I have some other people recording screens I even thought about finding higher dimensions with the same ratio, and just tell them to move up to those dimensions when they need a bigger screen. This is a pain and I would love any feedback.
