Viewing Articulate in HTML & HTML 5

Jun 20, 2013

When I open my HTML file

-links do not work (pdf, word or internet links). all of the links are housed in a folder and are not broken. The output folder is not moved

- everything else looks and functions properly

when I open my HTML5 file

-search function in standard player disappears

-logo in player disappears

-links DO work

the output folder is in a share folder, is this apart of the problem?

I have tried in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome

What am I doing incorrectly?

Is this a publishing setting? I have tried multiple combinations and settings.

Hi Jane,

First, to answer your question:

"the output folder is in a share folder, is this apart of the problem?"

Most likely, yes.

If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review the following article for details:
Can you try that out and let me know if you still run into the same problems, please?
Thanks!
