I wanted to know if you guys can help me with two things?
1. On my menus slide (1.2) I have 6 topics, when a user clicks on a topic and goes back, I would like the visited state to show. I already created one which is a white check mark for each topic.
2. The menu slide (1.2) plays an introduction voice over, but when the user goes back I don't want it play again since they already heard it previously.
It looks like your menu slide was using the slide property of "reset to initial state" and as such, the slide would reset each time. You'll also want to let the states control themselves per the definitions here so if you remove the "hover" triggers you'll see the visited state appear and the hover still works as normal.
Ashley is absolutely right. Just change menu slide setting to 'Resume saved state' and delete all the triggers changing your menu rectangles to hover state and visited state is going to appear when you get back to the screen.
Happy to hear it! Just an FYI that responding via email, your signature is included here in the forums so you're welcome to edit the post to remove that information.

Thank you so much,
This worked :)
