I have a simple on-screen text animation fade in that occurs with voice over. Some times the animation does not sync with the voice over but other times it does. Does anybody know why this would be happening? I have a client who says that in Windows 8, IE 10, the animation is not synced with the on-screen text but when I go into Storyline 2, it's right on point. Any suggestions?
Where is your client seeing this? In the .story file or within the published output? Have you shared just the published output folder or are they tested within the intended environment as detailed here?
Thank you for your response. The client is seeing this within an intended environment using IE 10. I published the output and placed it in our FTP to test and provided the client a link for Alpha Review.
First, just an FYI that when you reply via email your signature is included. You can edit the post to remove that information if you'd like.
On to the other matter, do you see the same behavior when testing the content online? If not, I suspect it's an issue with the client's browser/internet and overall loading - you could also try a few different web servers (there are some linked in that article I shared). If you are seeing it as well, we'd want to take a look at the .story file to do some additional testing ourselves.
Yes, that's exactly what I thought but wanted to post a discussion to make sure. I tested on 4 browsers and it only occurring on one machine in IE. I spoke with the client and asked them to test on a different machine and everything synced okay. Thank you for your time Ashley.
