Volume control feature without using the built in buttons

CK1 CK1
By CK1 CK1

This has been an ongoing topic for years.  However, it seems like nothing has changed.  Is it possible to add a custom button that can turn the volume on/off just like the built in buttons?

Pausing the timeline or using Flash doesn't count.

Tried it and it didn't work.

I only saw the player, not the slide.
