Since installing SL360 build 17 I've lost the ability to control audio contained in videos using the volume slider in the player. This problem doesn't seem to affect audio files added directly to the timeline.
SL360, volume slider in the default player (classic and modern), doesn't affect the volume of imported video on SL timeline.
However, there's another bug in the player. If you lower the volume while the video is playing then Pause the video using Play/Pause button on the default player, and then play it again, the video volume goes down. Same thing happens if you make the volume higher.
Guys, please fix this problem. It's affecting us badly.
And yes, it's not working on Build 17. And on one machine we've Build 13, and it's working fine.
I posted this a few days ago.... its affected on the initial setting. Doesn't apply to the current slide, but all other slides with video will retain the last setting. Same thing going forward or back in the slide deck.
Similar behavior to what Hassaan notes. Sounds like the pause and replay sets the control just like going to the next or previous slide.
Yea, our clients are not happy with all the update errors. We keep telling them they should get fixed soon.
Thanks for reporting this issue, and the additional caveat of using the play/pause button. We reported this to our team as well after update 17 was released, so we'll let you know here as soon as we have an update.
I do not have an update to share on this issue, but you can certainly work directly with our support team here so that we can verify the issue and provide an earlier release if needed.
I am also facing this issue in a course that has a lot of videos. I've created many courses with multiple video slides and haven't experienced this issue in the past.
Please advise if there is a way around this until the issue is repaired.
Hi Chrissie. I'm sorry that this issue is particularly impactful for you since you have a lot of video in your courses. We've documented this issue as high priority, but I don't have an ETA on a fix just yet.
Thanks for reaching out. I do not have an ETA, but you should now be subscribed to the thread so that you will be notified of updates we have to share.
This isn't fixed in Storyline 3 just yet, but we're targeting to fix this bug in the next Storyline 3 update. We'll let you know as soon as that update is live!

I just noticed this today. Going to really slow down the workflow if we have to cut the audio out of every video and bring it in separate now.

Dear Ashley,
Is there any update on the issue?
Also, is there a way that we can rollback the current version to an older stable version?
Thanks.
