I recorded my screen but get blank spaces above and below the recording. How can I have the recorded screen take up the entire page in Storyline 2?
I hope this makes sense. Basically, I have the full screen recorded and put the recording into try step mode. Each slide is created but has a blank bar above and below the recording. I would like each slide to be the full screen.
You'll want to conduct the screen recording at the same size as your story size so have it display "full screen" as when inserting it as a step by step mode, you won't be able to resize it as it's included as a part of the background.
You'll need to re-record using the same size as your story size and keeping in mind the elements Phil mentioned in terms of widescreen vs. 4:3 set up. There isn't a way to change the recording dimensions once inserted.

In addition to what Ashley says, Sounds like you are recording in widescreen but using $:3 slide so your recording gets letterboxed
