i have a warning message that appears when not all the boxes are checked. this works fine but the thing is, I want the warning to reappear when one of the boxes is unchecked again - what is the best/easiest way of doing this? I have tried a few things that haven't worked
On your 'Untitled Layer 1' layer add a second trigger to 'Caption 1 - "Warning"' that changes its state to 'Normal' when the state of any of the buttons are not = 'Selected' as per the attached.
Antony, I just was about ready to post the same solution, works well.
Pat, you're basically just adding one additional trigger, think of it like a light switch: You have one trigger to say turn off the warning if all of the boxes are selected, then another trigger to turn on the warning if any of the boxes are NOT selected.

cheers Antony, sometimes I get confused as to which layer I should be adding the trigger to
You're welcome Pat - it can get confusing at times but as long as you have the logic of the triggers worked out, it does become easier
