,wav import errors

Have tried converting to .mp3 and now get these messages every time I press the "Insert" key :(

Sorry to jump in here, but Pete will be out of the office for the weekend. I took a look at the audio file and inserted it into a new Storyline course. I didn't run into any issues playing the audio in the slide, or playing it during preview. 

Can you take a look at the file I created and let me know if you encounter the same issue, or if it plays properly for you, please?

Works fine if I double click on the sound object and play it.

Silent if I use the Timeline "Play" icon.

Works fine on Review Slide.

Fine if I publish...

Any ideas?

So, no error, correct? it's just not playing now when you use the Timeline Play button? How about the Play/Preview button under "Options"?

I think I'm seeing the same thing on the timeline, as well. But it seems to play properly everywhere else, including right-click and preview. 

I see it run through the length of the audio after clicking the play button in the timeline, but I hear no audio. Definitely strange. I'm assuming this is the same for you as well, is that right?

Right, it's an improvement, but certainly not a resolution. Curious to know if you saw any changes over the weekend.
