I get this error at least once a day, sometimes multiple times per day. Anyone have any ideas?
I am on Storyline version 6.1407.2208.
PC is Windows 7 w/8 GB of RAM.
Open applications are:
Storyline
MS Outlook
MS Word
Eagle N series ERP software (the program I build my Storyline projects about)
When I recover back into Storyline, It has lost any changes made since 2 saves ago. No matter how often I save the project, It never recovers to the last save point.
First of all, when creating, editing, and publishing Articulate Storyline courses, be sure you're working on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, such as file corruption, an inability to save changes, and loss of resources.
If you are working locally, please follow the troubleshooting steps in this article to fix unexpected or erratic behavior in Articulate Storyline.
Thank you for the suggestions. I tried them all, with no success. I still receive the pop-up message below. This has been happening several times a day. Today, it waited until 3:30 pm to happen the first time, so I guess that's progress?
Hi, Thom: Man, sorry about the trouble you are having. Assuming you are doing everything Leslie suggests above, I would delete Storyline off my computer and download a fresh version of the application. If it still happens, I'd contact Articulate Support.
Again, I apologize for the issue you've experienced. I see that you've connected with our Support team and it's been escalated to my colleague Jonathon who will be in touch with you shortly. For my reference your case number is # 00415336.

What do you suggest as my next course of action?

Again, sorry this is happening. --Daniel
Daniel:
I deleted Storyline, cleaned the Registry entries (using the utility that Leslie pointed me to, and re-installed a fresh copy form the web site.
Didn't help.
I will try Articulate support.
