Web object not resized properly in Chrome

Sep 09, 2015

I have a web object that points to a webpage that contains one graphic, a banner ad. In IE(Flash) and FF(HTML5) the web object mostly behaves and the banner ad is resized along with the rest of the player as the browser window is resized.

However, in Chrome(Flash) the banner image appears to be stuck at a particular size. If the browser window is too small then the image is cropped. If the window is too big, a large gray border appears to the right and below the banner.

I've tried setting the img tag width and height to 100% in my webpage, but that did nothing. Inspecting the page code I can see that the web object is placed inside of an iframe with width and height set to 100%.

Has anyone else encountered this, and is there a fix?

Thanks!

Btw, this is in Chrome version 45.0.2454.85 m.

I've tried various things and can keep experimenting with my html code, however if I open the URL of my web object directly in any browser, the size of my image is consistent across browsers. This leads me to believe that the problem lies with the way SL is embedding the web object.

Here's a sample link that demonstrates the issue. When viewed in Chrome, and the browser window is resized, you will either see the image cropped or a border begin to appear around it. This appears to be a SL  problem with Chrome.

Thanks Mike for sharing here. I didn't see a border around it in Chrome - it was a small image in the lower right hand corner, and when I viewed it in Firefox, it showed a small grey border at the bottom of the image - so it seems I have the opposite to what you described? Resizing my chrome browser resized the player as a whole and made it all appear smaller and still visible.
