Web Object Repositioning Itself
Jul 31, 2013
My basic problem is that I am placing a web object on a slide in my project, and when I preview or publish the project, the web object is shifting locations and covering up the table of contents. I can't figure out what is causing the web object to reposition it self.
More information
1. I have created a number of courses where the web object does not reposition.
2. The web objects are loading external HTML/video files.
3. With this project, I have created all of the other content, and the web objects are the last piece to be added. I assume there is something in one of these existing slides that is causing the reposition of my web object. My assumption is based on the fact that if I start a new project and lay a few of the videos down, the repositioning does not happen. But, once I begin copy/pasting my existing slides into the new project, the web object begins repositioning itself again.
Are there any E-Learning Heroes out there that have solved this issue?

Hi Kevin,
A possible solution may be the position of your side bar or the disabling of the previous button on the web object, as described here.
If that doesn't solve it, are you able to share your .story file here or submit a Support case so that our team can test it?
Ashley,
Thank you very much for this reply. We took your advice and tested both scenarios. In the end, it was the "Disabling the previous button" that was giving us the issue. Luckily in our case, this wasn't a deal breaker and we simply enabled it.
We really appreciate your quick reponse.
