Web Objects display above (block) default menu dropdown, and custom lightbox menu in IE 11.0

Feb 04, 2017

Hi, I've been having issues I believe to have narrowed down to how webobjects display in the precise browser Internet Explorer, Version 11.0.

On my own system, I have IE Version 11.5 and everything works fine (the menu appears on top of web objects, but I've confirmed on at least three other computers running IE 11.0 the menu gets blocked behind the web object.

Is this a known issue? and if so, is there any work around to force web objects to appear behind the menu properly?

Hi Jeremy!

In Articulate Storyline 2, you can layer slide content on top of website videos and web objects. This layering will be maintained in your published output. However, when a learner hovers over the embedded web content, it'll temporarily move to the topmost layer, which may cover other objects on the slide. As soon as the learner moves their mouse so they're no longer hovering over the web content, it'll return to its original position behind other objects on the slide.

Does this seem to match what you're seeing? If not, you're welcome to share your file with us, and we can test on our end. You can share it here in the forum or send it privately through this form. Also, it would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of what you're seeing, so we'll know exactly what to look for.
