I followed the directions outlined in this article https://articulate.com/support/article/how-to-add-a-youtube-video-sl2 to insert a YouTube video web object filling a single slide. Tested the link in the web object dialog box, and it opened and played perfectly; however, when I published, the white slide was presented. No video. Any ideas?
Was looking over the edit web object window...would like to either control what is displayed or the slide after the desired video plays -OR- set the web object slide to automatically move to the next slide post-video. Do you know how?
Hello Terri - I'm not sure that I'm fully understanding your question here, but if I am - the timing of your web object cannot be 'monitored' by Storyline, so doing any activity depending on the completion of a web object is difficult. If you have a .story file that you'd like to share, perhaps someone will be able to offer suggestions that could assist.
Thanks for reaching out to ask about the volume in your course. Are you running into an issue with the volume slider or were you hoping for an option without using this feature in the player?
If the latter, I'll leave that to the suggestions from the community in how they worked around a similar limitation as we would certainly recommend using this feature.
The Storyline Player volume slider will control the volume of Storyline slides, but web object audio volume is not controlled by the volume slider. I would recommend using your computer's volume control to raise or lower the volume in a web object.

Can we adjust the volume of web object video without default player. Please suggest
Hi Mohammad,

Can we adjust web object video and other slides audio in same volume in custom player.
Hi Mohammad,
The Storyline Player volume slider will control the volume of Storyline slides, but web object audio volume is not controlled by the volume slider. I would recommend using your computer's volume control to raise or lower the volume in a web object.
