Hi, I'm a new user of Storyline. I have questions about the Web Objects. I have my web objects set to display in the slide and to load the web object automatically. All this is fine except that the Web objects display on top of eveything -- even the feedback prompts and the opened Resources tab list. How do I make the web object layer appear under the feedback prompts and the Resources list?
You may find that some player elements open behindweb objects. This can happen with the volume slider and any drop-down menus you've added to the top left or top right of the player, such as menu, resources, glossary, or custom tabs.
The link above, "This is a known issue", points to information regarding the Player Elements Appear Behind Web Objects. This information page also shows a picture of Articulate Storyline version 1.
When I searched product support for Storyline 2, using the same key words, "Player Elements Appear Behind Web Objects", nothing is found. Does the picture implies that this known issue is not affecting Storyline 2 or perhaps there is a solution for this known issue in Storyline 2?
I'm not sure that I've seen the issue reported in Storyline 2, so if this is something that you are experiencing, please share your .story file so that we can take a look.
Hi Deb - as I shared with Dan above, I'm not seeing this reported for Storyline 2. If this is what you are seeing, please share your .story file so that we can take a look. If you cannot share here in the forums, please share privately here.

Hello Mary Ellen, and welcome to Heroes!

This also affectsvideos inserted from websites(Screenr,Vimeo,Google Videos, etc) andimported Engage interactions, since these are also treated as web objects. (One notable exception isYouTube. YouTube videos inserted viaVideo from Websiteare wrapped in a Flash control, so they won't experience this issue.)
This is a known issue. Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround. When additional information becomes available, we'll post it here.

Hi Emily,
Thank you for your reply. I hope this issue with the embedded web objects is resolved soon. --mew
