Web Objects --- Head scratcher
Sep 18, 2019
Hi All,
I am in adding a WebObj to my course. I was under the impression that all this did was to "Cut" a hole in my course and show my index.html page. Then I could make updates to my html page. The next time a learner hit that page from my course they would see my latest changes.
When I pub the course. I see a webObj folder. So is my html page now embedded in the storyline course folder or is still looking out to my html content?
Thanks
B

The page should still be looking to your html content on the server. Can you send a screen shot of what you are seeing? I am curious.
I think this is expected if you're trying to play your content back locally from your hard drive.
Do you see this same behavior if you load up to a web server?
You can use Articulate's tempshare to test if you don't have access to a web server... http://tempshare.articulate.com/
