Web objects to improve latency?

I am looking for a method of reducing the latency of an e-learning module that is looking to be over 150MB if published as one module.
The project involves internal navigation which I do not want to sacrifice by publishing as multiple segments and using LMS navigation to link the packages.
The content includes about 11 x 18MB videos which I am thinking could be embedded from YouTube in Web Objects rather than inserting the files into the project to improve the latency.
As SCORM is loaded as one instance of an entire package, will the Web Object architecture improve latency due the videos being streamed rather than downloaded in one hit.
Please advise

Using web-based videos instead of 'local' ones would certainly reduce the overall size and load time of a tutorial. You could also experiment with quality settings as described here, under Step 4 to improve load times.
Thank you for the confirmation Michael.
Glad that Michael was able to assist you here David :)
