Web publishing - a bit concern

Oct 07, 2016

Hi all,

I have been using Articulate for quite sometime now, and I am currently exploring the option of public publish.

Hmm.. i have been reading the article on HTML5 and IOS and Android capabilities to send my material to the user, however this is kind of overwhelming for a first time user as me.

Although new, I did some research necessary to understand the whole thing and i found out some issues or topic that I need some enlightenment on. I hope, you all expert can help me ;)

1. I cannot  find the Articulate Mobile App player on itunes (i am using Iphone 6, i do not know if this the reason why)

2. I currently have intranet, LMS, but my LMS is strictly for internal staff, so if I want to share this material to another department, I need to use a company shared intranet (how will i go about in doing so?)

3. Can my training material be shared to another person, let's say via email, and how will the person be able to launch this material on her end.

Hi Ryce!

Looks like Michael has popped in to assist you here. In addition to the comments about the Articulate Mobile Player, please note that is not required to view content on a mobile device and you can check out our viewing requirements here.

If you need to give learners access to a standalone course via the Internet or an intranet, and if you don't need to track their progress, then web publishing is your best option. Here's how to publish a course for web deployment.

Also, Michael mentioned publishing to CD and that is a great way to share with others to allow them to view locally, but if you are utilizing the web publish option above, you should have a URL that you could send out to users as well to allow them to view properly.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
