I'm creating a storyline presentation and added links to a website. When creating it the links work perfectly, however once published the the links do not work. Is there a fix for this? What am I doing wrong?
If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published as described within this article.
Please let us know if you continue to have trouble. Thanks!
It appears that you can get around this restriction if you publish for CD and preview your file using the executable that is created on publication. This will let you test and see how everything will look and how it functions. Links to web content should work under this method.
