Weird Red Line on Art

More mystery.... I noticed the red line goes away when I ungrouped the artwork.

I've seen the red line too. Not for a while though, but I've seen it ... a couple releases ago.

I am having a weird red line issue around my slide and notes.  This occured when I went to save my work.  Now I cannot save the work.  I can move between slides, but there is still the red lines around the slide and notes.  I have attached a screen shot.  Suggestions anyone?

Thanks for the screenshot. I'm curious if this is related to another known issue. Can you confirm your color depth settings and see if that resolves this? If not, please be sure that you're working and saving to your local hard drive, rather than a network or USB drive. If the issue persists, we'd be happy to take a closer look at it. Thanks Peter.  It might also be that I work on two screens using a dual monitor.  Presently, the resolution is set at 1140 x 900 which is the highest resolution the screen has.  I am not sure how this compares to 32-bit.  I will turn this into the support team along with this explanation and the file.

Thanks for the info, Pamela. Please feel free to share your case number with me so I can follow up with it. And you may also want to confirm that you definitely have Update 1 installed (released in August). 

I had the same issue. When I ungrouped all of my graphics, the strange red lines went away. Was there ever any resolution to this issue?

This is an older thread, so I'm not sure if the same solutions will apply to your project.

First, can you tell me what version of Storyline you're using, please? To find this information, click on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline".

If you're not running version 3 (1305.2012), please download and install the update using the link below:

Articulate - Storyline Update 3

If the issue still exists, it may simply be due to grouping the objects in your slide. Without seeing the project file, however, it's difficult to say. Are you able to share the .STORY file here, so I can take a look?

Hi Christine. The weird red text/line appeared on the first page. I ungrouped all objects on that page and it seemed to be resolved. However, the red lines have returned. They are still on the first page, but in a different place. I removed ALL groups from my presentation, but still no resolution.

I do have the latest upgrade to Storyline.

I have attached my .story file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid I'm not seeing the red lines you're referring to, however. Can you tell me where this is happening in the project? 

I've looked through the slides, I've previewed the course and I'm still not seeing the lines. Just want to make sure I'm not missing it.
