What is going on?

I have a Storyline project done and uploaded to a sandbox for testing. The SME's came back with some changes. I start to work on the project and nothing works the same as it did last week. I have duplicated a text box because the conditional triggers don't work. Box A state is Normal and the bullets step through one at a time to follow the audio I've added. Box B state is Hidden to start. I have a button created that switches states of A and B if the users doesn't wish to listen to the audio.

Problem: on the work done last week, I could set Box B with no animation so the text shows up when the users selects the Skip Audio button. Today, I can't get Box B set to no animation. The setting in the animation ribbon is for no animation but it doesn't skip the animation.
