What is the automatic compression setting for video footage on articulate storyline 2?

Oct 20, 2015

Hi there,

I need help. My boss wants to knwo the compression rate of high quality video footage at 5minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. I've imported footage and then done a little math but it doesnt seem to be overly consistent. I'm assuming this might be because some footage have more audio bytes than other scenes....If anyone has the answer to this question can you please tell me and also can you please tell me what the automatic compression setting for video footage on artiuclate storyline 2 is? thank you

Hi Jacinta!

I'm not sure I'm following. You can find all of the information about supported videos in this documentation and audio information can be found here.

We do have this extra bit of information in regards to audio:

Although Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio '13 support a wide range of audio file formats (AAC, AIF, AIFF, M4A, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA), not all codecs and bitrates are supported. If you encounter either of the issues described above, we recommend converting your audio files to 16 bit 44 KHZ PCM WAV for best results.

I hope this helps :)

Looks like you are replying via e-mail and that attaches your signature as well, but you are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
