Anyone have a suggestion when the audio in the audio file (audio editor) on a given slide is fine but when you press play on the timeline, the audio is all screwy. I know I have a fine recording because it's in the audio editor, but I can't get that to play back in the timeline. Has that ever happened to anyone else?
I see an issue that has been reported to our QA Team with regards to the slide preview functionality and audio if the audio is on a layer and 'hide objects on base layer' is selected.
Does this sound like what you are dealing with?
If we could take a look at your .story file, that would be helpful.
Thanks! I'm not sure if that was the issue, but here's a fix - in case
anyone else has this issue.
I simply copied the sound file that wasn't playing back nicely in the
timeline (even though it was in the Audio Editor) and then deleted the
sound file that wasn't playing back nicely. This did the trick.

Interesting. Glad that you were able to get this corrected Sophie and thanks for sharing with everyone.
I ran across this problem. I exported the audio file, deleted the 'bad' one, and imported. Fixed the problem.
Thanks for sharing your experience as well Les.
