I would like to know what storyline size is best for modules which will be played on multiple different smart phones, such as Samsung Galaxy, iPhone, etc. The content will be played on the phone's browser.
This is a matter of viewports. And every phone (and each browser on that phone) has their own viewports, so there is no uniform solution. The best compromise is to decide on an aspect ratio and then set your story to autoresize within SL player properties (autoresize does not work on all Android devices).
Have a look at this guide to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
Storyline content may work on some Android devices. However, Articulate does not officially support Android devices or browsers. Click here to review the system requirements for authoring and viewing Storyline content.
If you'd like to see official support for a particular mobile device, we welcome your feature requests.

Hi Jennifer and welcome to Heroes!
There is some additional discussion here on the optimal size for an iPad and iPhone.
