I've seen this happen. In my case, it helped to turn off spell check options in Word, or make sure it's set to the language you're using. It can also help to close other apps except for SL while you're doing this to prevent errors.
You'll see that error message if the language for your Articulate project hasn't been added to Word's language options. The easiest way to correct it is to add a keyboard input language in Microsoft Windows.

I just tried to disable all the spell check features in Word and it still is saying that. I wonder if there's anything else I can do?
I'm sorry. I'm not aware of anything else. That was enough for me. Maybe someone else will have an idea.
