"When Text Entry loses focus" iOS Issue

We have built a number of Storyline courses where users input text that is later shown back to them to compare against a sample answer. This is done using the "Set (TextEntry Variable) equal to typed value When Text Entry loses focus" trigger. 

Everything works as expected on computer, but while doing QA of these courses on an iPhone, we found that if the user enters text and then just hits the next button, the text will not appear in that later spot. For the text box to actually lose focus and the variable to change, the user has to hit the Done button on their keyboard--circled in yellow in the attached image.

Are there any alternate triggers that can be used in this situation, since it's unlikely users will select that Done button before continuing?
