When you restart the course lost points scored (cmi.score.raw).
Mar 01, 2017
There is a problem with the course. The bottom line is this: the user is a certain part of the course, and then close the tab with a course in your browser. In the LMS displays the collected points. In continuation of the course, the user is still part of the course. Then again, the course closes. Score is not added. The course alternates informational slides and slides quiz. The user closes the course after the quiz slide.
The course tested on cloud.scorm.com. And on the client LMS. The situation is similar. Tested several times.
In the first report it is clear that at the end of the user session scored 12.76 points (cmi.score.raw)

The next session begins with cmi.score.raw = 8.51

In the settings used prompt resume.
What could be the problem?
Sorry for the bad English.

I add a little bit. The error occurs after the same slide.
I noticed this feature: your score is lost on the third attempt. Maybe the problem is in the LMS? What can be done to points always saved? Please help!
Here are 3 attempts to pass the course.

Hello Di! Thanks for sharing your SCORM logs with us. Is it possible for you to share your .story file, as well? If you can, please also note on which slide you are leaving the course and seeing this error. What version of SCORM are you using when you publish?
If you prefer to share your .story file privately, you can submit a case and upload your file to us there. Thanks for reaching out!
Thank you, Crystal Horn. I posted my .story on technical support.
I use Storyline 360. I publish SCORM 2004 2nd Edition. The error occurs on different slides. Typically, the transition from one scene to another scene. If you watch a scene - the error does not occur.
Opened case number 01030101.
I would be very grateful for any help.
Hey Di - Thanks for letting us know you reached out to our support engineers. It looks like Vevette is assisting you :)
Thank you, technical support for the advice.
The problem is not in the flash version. But this is not a good solution. Many people use mobile devices.
I'll wait for the good news.
Hello Di! I just checked in to your case with Vevette. It looks like she wanted to test putting the course all in one scene to see if the error would be eliminated in the HTML5 output. Are you able to have all of your slides in one scene?
Thanks for working with us!
I'll test this on another test course. But placing all the slides in one scene will not be a good solution. My main course consists of 17 scenes of about 10 slides in each scene.
I tried to do the whole course in one scene. And it worked! For the purity of the experiment, I created a new course with a lot of scenes. The error was repeated. Further, I changed this new course into one scene. The error has disappeared.
I hope this helps in solving the problem.
Thanks, Di! That's really good information for our team to have. I'm going to make sure I make a note of this in your case.
Hello. I want to know how things are with the solution of the problem. Is there any progress?
Can I avoid the problem without doing the whole course in one scene?
Hello Di - I took a peek and do not have an update to share.
This article may help in understanding how we tackle these bugs.
We have the following workarounds listed:
Not sure if either of these will work for you.
Thank you, Leslie!
At the moment I'm using flash output. And it works for me.
Hello, Leslie!
I found the same problem in my course. Seems like it exists about 6 months. Today Storyline 360 was updated to 3.8 but the problem is not resolved yet.
Your workarounds are not very helpful, cause html5 outputs still not work and putting all questions in one scene makes a chaos in course structure. When we can expect a fix for this bug?
Hello Eugeny and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
Sorry to hear that you've run into this issue as well. Regarding the update that was released today, all of the details can be found here.
I am updating our internal report so that it is reflecting user impact and also allow me to update here when we can.
This article explains how we handle bug reports.
Hey folks! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and it includes a fix for the problem where a quiz could be scored incorrectly in the HTML5 output when questions were spread across multiple scenes.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.
Please let me know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
