Hello S!

Thanks for reaching out here. It looks like you've selected the 'Publish to CD' tab, which is for distributing your course offline. That's why you don't have the option to choose a publishing format.

Instead you'll want to select the 'Articulate 360' tab at the top, and there you can choose a publishing format. Be sure to reach out if you have any further questions!

Hi Ashley.  Please see the attached image which looks to publish to LMS, but still looks similar to that previously posted by S Olivares

I tend to follow instructions to the letter and got stuck when these referred to the Format tab.

You'll see that I am publishing to LMS with no visible Format tab. and the only way to access the Format window is by clicking the text hyperlink - which I found by accident.

I'm sorted, but I thought I'd share with others that there is another way to access it.

Hi Ashley,

I have a similar issue as was described in this chat. In my case, I am on Publish to LMS tab, but the Format Property is not available. What causes it? It is visible on my other projects. This one came from the client as a completed project. I would appreciate a word of advice. - Thank you!

Hello Alex, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing as well as the difference.

It sounds like you may be using an older version of the software. Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?

  • You can check by going to Help > About Articulate Storyline

We are currently on Build 3.52.25247.0 of Storyline 360. You can read all of the details here.

Since Adobe discontinued Flash, we removed the Flash publishing options from Storyline 360. As a result, courses no longer have specific launch files for HTML5 and Flash output. Instead, give your learners the link for the story.html file, which launches the HTML5-only output in their default browsers on desktop computers and mobile devices.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help!

Hi Leslie,

I'm experiencing the same issue as Alex mentioned above.  See attached screenshot.  This is my first Storyline module and to upload it to our LMS, I need to update the Format, but it doesn't provide me with that option.  I am using Storyline 360 v.3.52.25247.0.  Any reason why this might be happening?

Any help is appreciated!  Thank you!
