Hi. I want to have a slide where people pick an option and then click to submit which brings up a feedback layer.
I have tried inserting a survey slide. This gives up to 10 choices and also allows me to add feedback (which creates feedback layers) but I cannot see any submit button. Which is odd as the triggers mention a submit button but I can't see it anywhere on the slide.
So there is no way the player can submit the choice and see the feedback.
The submit button will be in the player window, not the slide window. You could add a custom submit button but then you would need to hide the built in submit button in the player. When you preview the slide you will see the submit button. If for some reason you don't, check the slide properties to make sure the submit button is checked.
So you can use any button as a submit button, in the triggers you just create a trigger for the button that says submit interaction (survey type) when user clicks submit button (your submit button not the built in.
I'm OK about creating a button but I'm confused about how it can show the correct layer for the survey option selected. Is this done by using a condition? If so how? Sorry but I can't work it out.
For a survey question there is no correct feedback. You can set the feedback to be 'by choice' for some questions. If you do this the submit inteaction trigger will ensure the correct layer is shown.
In the survey form view by clicking the 'more' button I was able to create a layer for each choice.
What I can't work out is how to tell the system that if you click submit button when choice A is selected that will bring up the 'more' layer for choice A.

I never use the player as I don't like it. How can I put a submit button on the slide and then connect it up to the survey options?
BTW here is a review version of the game. Only 'Lydia' is active at the moment.
The reason I am not using a quiz slide by the way is for this part of the game there is no right or wrong answer, just different outcomes.
Add a button, add a trigger submit interaction.

Sorry to be so dim.
Sorry, I seem to have managed it. It was just adding a trigger to the choices, it seems I did not need a submit button. But thanks for your help.
