So I'm trying to send the value of a numeric variable to my LMS and have been following all the discussions that revolve around this procedure for doing so. The thing is when I set up the trigger and go to select the variable I want to report to my LMS, it's not there. The only option I have available in the drop down menu is the TextEntry variable that has been created as part of the short answer question. How do I get my SCORE variable to show up so that I can select it?
That method is specific to text entry variables - so you wouldn't be able to use it for a numeric variable. You could set up a text entry that captures numbers, and still report that to your LMS.
If you're trying to use it to create a custom score, I'd also look at what options you have for using Javascript. That may give you some more options for reporting the score to your LMS and seeing it similar to how a normal score would be reported! I'm certain there are folks in the community who can help you set this up!

Choosing the TextEntry as the variable is correct.
You would then set the value of that to your variable:
