Where to host content for iPad offline viewing?

We created a presentation in SL2 and want to view it on the iPad? If we check the option to allow offline viewing, where should host put the package file and how do we send it to the Articulate Mobile Player app? No tracking is required since it's a one-of thing.
Does offline viewing only works for content hosted in Articulate Online? Or will any LMS work? How about if we upload it in Box and put the link to the story.html file in the Mobile Player?
Appreciate any help. I tried searching but most questions were old and didn't really answer my question.

Hi Calvin!
You have the option to let learners download content to the Articulate Mobile Player for offline viewing. Note that a Wi-Fi connection is required to initially download the content. If you attempt to download a course over a cellular connection, you'll encounter the following reminder: Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
You will publish the content and share the story.html file with your learner. If it was published for Articulate Mobile Player, then that's how it will open. Here’s how Storyline determines which version of your content to display when learners view it.
Hi, Calvin -- Many thanks for your question, and in addition to the great resources Leslie shared, I also wanted to stop in to pass along this information on options for Publishing and Sharing Your SL2 Content. :)
Hi Christie, thanks for this. Just confirming, offline viewing would work even if the files are shared in Dropbox? And just point to the link inside Articulate Mobile Player?
Hi, Calvin -- Yes, that should do the trick, and for additional details, you may want to take a look at the information over here, as well.
Thanks again! So based on that link, it seems that it doesn't always work with any LMS? It does however work with any webserver that doesn't require a password to access.
Hi Calvin! This article has a great chart that may be of assistance. If you wish to use the Articulate Mobile Player, then your LMS should support Tin Can API.
Hi Leslie, Thanks this is the info I am looking for. I'll do some testing now.
This thread is dated, however, I'm not seeing the option to allow offline access when I publish my document. I'm going through articulate-online. What medium do I need to use to get this feature. I've been in contact twice with articulate support but I just get sent to outdated articles.
Hi Ana and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!
The ability to view courses offline via Articulate Online is not an available feature. Offline viewing is only supported with courses published for web-deployment (i.e., hosted on a web server). See this article for more information.
