May 30, 2018

Hi all, I am rather new to this, and I wanted to know when I publish my course, and I send the story.html file for some one to see it, they can't open it. where can I save the published course to so someone else that is not on any of my systems can see it?

First you need to publish for the Web, if you are going to put this on a server someplace, or for CD, if you are just going to mail it to them.

When SL publishes, it creates hundreds of files that it puts in a folder named "Name of Project - Storyline output". Every file in the folder is necessary, so you must send them the entire folder.

If you don't have any other way to get it to them, you can get a free account on SCORMCloud. Publish it for LMS, zip it, and upload to SCORMCloud.

Hey Steven!

Are you looking to send the file to someone for review purposes?

If so, check out Tempshare! It's an fantastic tool for getting your published file on the web quickly and easily. Keep in mind, content hosted there can be accessed for only 10 days, since it's not meant for long-term hosting.

And if you have Storyline 360, you can publish to Articulate Review!
