I am creating a resource where the colour of the background of the slide needs to be white. I cannot get it to display white - as an example see this review - the white box in the middle has exactly the same RGB code (and HTML #FFFFFF) as the background, yet the background displays grey.
How do I get the background to display white please?
have you checked your slide master and the layout master to be sure there is nothing in the background that might appear on the slide? I am not able to duplicate the issue you are having, but wonder if you could upload the Storyline file for a closer look.
On the main master slide is an image, Picture1.png. That is where your gray is coming from. If you don't want to remove it, because it is used in other slides, I would simply put a white box at the bottom of the timeline for the slide you are working on.

Hi David,
The background is also #FFFFFF on the master slide.
I've attached the file, thank you.

Hi David,
Thank you! I did not notice that!
It must have been added by the person who created the theme!
