I am having an on-going problem with notes appearing in white font when I want them in black. I have gone in to the player "Color and Effects" > "Show advanced color editing", edited "List Item" to black to no avail. The notes appear black on Preview. This is causing me frustration and wasted time. I know that some of you with more experience will have the perfect answer.

Are you only seeing this behavior when you Preview, or do you also see this after you publish your project?
Have you had a look at the steps outlined in the formatting notes text article here? Simply open the Notes panel, select the text you want to format, then use the font and paragraph options on the ribbon.
