After trying many things I think I found a solution that may help someone
out there:
1.If the video is embedded on a layer avoid using states on the trigger
buttons(somehow it worked)
2.The video as from youtube link copied reads https://youtu.be/kOkQ4T5WO9E
When I added embed code https://youtu.be/embed/kOkQ4T5WO9E?rel=0 it
displayed a security message but this solved the issue

Thanks for the help guys.
Thanks for popping back in to share Dennis :)
The key thing for me to get my videos to work in both chrome and firefox was changing the http: to https: as suggested by Michael.
Is it possible to update the storyline help page here: https://articulate.com/support/article/how-to-add-a-youtube-video-sl2
All the examples on that page currently give the http: url ?
