I have set the slide advance by user in my slide properties box for my entire project but the slides are still advancing...I can't replicate it myself, but I am getting a complaint from a client that it is happening. Is it possible that this setting does not work on custom buttons, only if i use the default buttons in storyline?

If this is only happening for your client, however, was this always the case? Or did this just start happening? If it just recently started, ask the client to try clearing their browser cache.
You're unable to replicate this in the original file and the course that's been uploaded, correct?
Hi Christine, what I have noticed is this: The advance by user ONLY works on the slides that are normal/text image slides. Any question slides this does not work on AFTER the learner clicks on submit. So once the user is on a results layer above a question slide, the automatic advancing of slides happens.
Sounds like there's a conflict on some of those slides. Might be best to take a look at the course and see what's happening. Any chance you can share the .STORY file here, so I can take a look? You're also welcome to send it over to us privately, if you prefer.

I was able to find the case you submitted (#00329401 for my reference). I see that Vira is working with you on this and that she sent out an email to you this morning.
