Why is my sound okay when I'm working within Storyline but if I preview or publish it

has a jagged, echoing sound? It doesn't happen every time though!

 

It makes no sense! Is it my computer? The program? Please help because I'm losing valuable hours rerecording.

Hi EM. One option to try might be to adjust the audio quality when publishing. In the Publish window, you'll see Quality: Optimized for standard delivery. Click on the standard deliver link and that will open this window:

Adjust the audio quality and see if that helps.

You also might try publishing to a CD, putting that output folder and its files on a jump drive and testing on a different computer to further diagnose. Hope that helps.
