I've assigned a button to change the value of my Storyline variable to "\sqrt" but when the value is set, it appears as "/sqrt". Please tell me there is a work around for this, as it's going to hold up a project I'm working on. I've attached a sample project showing the problem.
Can you tell me what version of Storyline 2 you're using? To check, click the Help tab, then click About Articulate Storyline. You should see Update 12 in the upper-right corner.

I found a workaround for now, using some javascript to turn the forward slashes back into backslashes.
Hi Michael,
Thanks for sharing a sample file with me! I tested it using Storyline 2 Update 12, and I didn't see the backslash convert to a forward slash. You can have a look at my testing here.

That's great to hear Alyssa. I'm know I'm not on the most recent version, so that's probably it then. Thank you.
Glad we found the culprit, Michael!
