I see the same behavior when clicking on the link that you shared and viewing on a Mac with Chrome 73.0.3683.103. We advise sharing the story.html file vs the story_html5.html file. Take a look at this link: https://www.hpn.com/media/elearning/screen_addiction360/story.html I do not get the play button when launching. Notice that the browser will default to the html5 version if Flash is not an option in your browser. Google made some auto-play changes, which you can read about here.
