Can I update a published shared link without losing feedback - if I publish a New Link - in any case and if I'm not the author

Jun 26, 2018

I have two cases of the same question. I'm worried I'll lose my feedback if I republish to same shared link. In one case I am the author of the course, in the other, I'm not and it isn't the original file - it is built off it, but saved with a new name.

No, I haven't tested, I'm too afraid to lose the feedback. I hope this is a quick and easy answer.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, WJ. Thanks for reaching out; I'd love to lend a hand and have outlined a user flow based on your description. Fingers crossed I got it right!

To start, I published a .story file to Articulate Review:

WJ1

Comments were then made in its unique Review URL:

ReviewLinkVersion1

Edits were then made within that particular .story file, so a new version needs to be under the same Review URL:

WJ2

Here's that new version:

Review2

The comments are safe and sound, and we have a new version of the project 🎉Hope that helps, and let me know if you had something else in mind!
