We have created a course with custom navigation in Storyline 360 and saved the file out to HTML5/Flash. The course works well on Android and iOS iPhone 8 PLUS model. We cannot get the course to run on iPhone 5s or 8. The browser bars block the custom previous/next buttons. I can get the browser to clear, but the custom nav buttons do not work on the 8 or 5s models. Again, it works beautifully on the larger Plus model. Could it be the buttons are too close to the edge? Anybody else have this issue?
Strange that the problem happens on an iPhone 5s or 8, but not on an iPhone 8 Plus. I'm happy to dig deeper! Can you tell me a little more about this file?
Did you publish the course for Web, LMS, or something else?
Does this issue happen on a particular browser or multiple ones?
Mind sharing your .story file with me, so I can try to replicate the behavior in those environments? Need to send it privately? No sweat, here's where!
We published to place on the web. It does work in Chrome on the iphone 5 and 8. Not Safari. It worked in Safari on the 8 plus. I send the file along for you to look at.
Circling back here to note that we were able to replicate the behavior on an iPhone 5s where the bottom buttons are blocked by Safari's bar. Appreciate you letting us know about this oddity!
I've attached this discussion to the report, so we can keep you posted on its progress here in addition to your case! Thanks again, and we'll be here if you need anything else!
