I have a package with assessment questions. The package is set so learners have 3 attempts at the assessment. We have set the package with an exit, close and retry button which generate automatic emails from our LMS - these all work if the instructions are followed by the learner.
We are finding some learners are using the window close button (top right X) and this is generating a failed 3 times message to our LMS after only one or two attempts. Is there anyway of preventing this happening? I.E. changing what happens if a user closes the window using X rather than the buttons within the learning.
How odd! This might be a snag taking place on the LMS side, as it may not be registering when the browser is closed as a "completion". If you wanted to do some further testing, you could use SCORM Cloud to see if the same behavior continues there.

I have visited a lot of web sites with large warning labels: "If you click this button, bad things will happen (eg. going back will charge you twice)"
