Windows Media Player

If a computer does not have Windows Media Player installed would that cause issues with playing MP4 files most particularly those with videos embedded in the course? Do Articulate courses with videos require an add-in to play/run?

Hey LaVon-

Nope! You don't need Windows Media Player to view published Storyline content.

As long as you meet these requirements, you'll be able to view a published course on the web!

If you're publishing for local viewing- Storyline 360 just switched from publishing the local output (the publish for CD option) as Flash to publishing it as HTML5- so you don't even need Flash plugins installed to view it.

Hope that's helpful, let me know if you have questions! 😄
