Would you like to resume where you left off: how to switch off

We were designing a test with a certain number of questions, drawn from the question base.

The user has a limited time to do the assessment, but has the right to try as often as he / she wants to.

Problem:

if a user quits after Question 5 - of 15, for example - and comes back later, there is the feedback "would you like to resume where you left off" and the user continues after the last question viewed.

We need to switch this off and would highly appreciate a quick solution to that
