Wrong sized boxes

I have created another Software Demo that is working far better... since I didn't make it too long. The first one resulted in 155 slides and took FOREVER to do anything.
In both of them some of the automatically created text boxes.... like CLICK....
resulted in something like....
Cli
ck
2 separate lines and a box too narrow for the text.
If I were to go into each slide and manually change the size of each box I'll be here until DOOMSDAY.
Any advice?

Hi there Dave,
Thanks for your post. Modifications to the default caption labels for screen recordings isn't currently supported. Caption labels refer to the action words associated with events in your screen recordings, such as "Click and drag..."
Here are two options for editing caption labels, and please note the second option for the XML file is not supported.
Alyssa,
I have found one 'sort of' answer to my question.
Many of the demos and tutorials show recording a Software Demo of programs and systems like PowerPoint. I just noticed this the other day when I was ready to do a Software Demo of a system I'm developing training for last week.
When I do a demo of PPT, there are WONDERFUL captions created.
The systems I have been doing demos for are Web based and my theory is that there are no screen captions for the links I am clicking. As a result, there is no other text being picked up by SL2 as there is in PPT.
It still remains that the word Click ends up in the caption box as ....
Cli
ck
I am looking into the XML method. I have an entire team of XML specialists here in my office.
Thanks for the update, David! And I'm curious, what browser were you using to record the web-based software?
We've found the best results using Internet Explorer--it provides the richest set of data. Firefox also works well. Google Chrome, on the other hand, communicates very little information to the Windows Accessibility API, which is how Storyline collects information about your screen recording.
A wonderful suggestion was given.
A valiant effort was made to try in Firefox. IE is not suggested for this system.
I have added the slides I created in Firefox for your review which show the errant caption boxes.
Take a look....

Thanks for sharing your file, David! I do see that some of the slides show "Click" on two lines, so it appears that data for those steps wasn't sent to Windows Accessibility API. Are you able to manually type in the steps for those slides?
I can manually type in anything I like.
I did see where I can adjust the settings for the caption boxes once the file is created... and your instructions state that any subsequent boxes will have those attributes. One of note was formatting the shape.
Select the caption > Right click and choose Format Shape > Choose the Text Box tab > Choose "Resize shape to fit text"
The DEFAULT is Do Not Autofit.... which I do not understand why it would be a DO NOT....
If this was set to Autofit I think the problem would be solved.
There is also a checkbox for "Wrap text in shape"
I have submitted a support request so hopefully we can get to the bottom of this one.
Thanks for getting that submitted David.
I have found THE solution to this issue.
The entire key was the Windows Accessibility API. It has nothing to do with XML files or DPI resolution at all.
IE has the API switched on by default.
CHROME DOES NOT.
I have attached the explanation here that may be distributed to any and all that may find this information helpful.
Thanks for sharing David - that could certainly assist others in the future.
I need to make one adjustment to my information.
Depending on your operating system.... 32 bit or 64 bit will depend on the path of the shortcut.
Either way, the switch is the same. Ensure there is a SPACE between the last dbl quote and the syntax for the switch.
