xAPI statement issues when course is uploaded to LMS
Dec 19, 2019
Hello all, I'm hoping someone will be able to assist. Here's the issue I am running into.
I created a course and added in the "execute JavaScript" trigger for some of the slides Preferred, Watched and Clicked statements to be sent to our LRS.
I published the course for Web, updated the story.html5 file, added Javascript files that were needed, and housed the course folder on a web server and the course runs as expected with statements being sent to the LRS.
Now when I want to house that same course to our LMS, I published for TIN CAN API and uploaded the course to our LMS. The only data that comes through our LRS are Experienced statements pertaining to the slides within the course, none of the hand coded ones that I included came through.
Can anyone help? I'm using Storyline 360 for this course.

Hi Adam, I'm new to all this. Can I ask what LRS you are using? Also, in order to track when publishing to Web, what JavaScript files are needed? Any links to informational resources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Clara,
We're using an LRS from RISC.
Here's a link that I used to help get me started with xAPI within Storyline. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/send-xapi-statements-from-storyline-5-short-videos-milloway-msit/?trackingId=azDPaBpFJjkSgxhlQnL9Zg%3D%3D
Thank you!
Adam, I have run into a similar situation. Were you able to find a solution?
