I have a module with a number of Youtube and Vimeo clips embedded throughout. All the Vimeo clips work fine but only have of the YouTube clips work fine.
What I mean is that I've set the video clip options to "Play Video: When clicked" but half of the YouTube videos start playing on their own.
Here's some information on the auto play feature for a web object:
autoplay
The autoplay parameter determines whether the video will automatically play when the user reaches the slide that contains the YouTube Web Object or whether the user must click on the video to start playing it. The autoplay parameter accepts the following values:
0 means that you do NOT want the video to autoplay (default)
I was instering the Youtube clips as video and as I mentioned some of them played automatically and others didn't - even though I set them all to play when clicked.
It sounds amazing. I've tried everything but my youtube doesn't appear in a published version. Rebecca, I've tried it even with your file and it doesn't work either. Any ideas why it doesn't work?
If you're testing it locally, that may be the problem, since your computer, your browser, or other things could be blocking it. Here's the Storyline support article about that.

Hi Z!
There are two different ways to insert a Youtube video into Storyline. Are you inserting as a video or as a web object?
You might want to try re-adding the videos as a web objects, if you haven't already. Then you can set the auto play options.
Here's a link to a tutorial on this topic.

Christine: Thanks for the above article on inserting youtube vids. So it seems that I can have the video stop at a certain point.
Question: can I get it to START at a certain point, as well as stop at a certain point?
My guess is nuh-uh, but thought I'd ask. Thanks so much. --Daniel
Hi Daniel,
If I'm reading your question correctly, check out the attached (you'll have to publish it of course to get it to work)
It's a 2:08 video that I set to start at 16 seconds and end at 40 seconds
It's a really cute dog video (but I'm biased) so you might actually want to watch the whole thing!

Hi Leslie and Olga,
My pleasure and glad it was a relatively simple fix.
