Zoom region

Hi Guys,
I´m just new in this community and pretty much just started working with Storyline.
So I would be pretty thankful for some advice with the theme "Zoom region".
It seems like I can´t really do any adjustments with this tool, can I?
Couldn´t find it...
Such as changing just one side - wide or length. There is also this effect to it, which always comes back to the origninal picture. I would just like to zoom in and not out again. I just found the speed adjustments.
Thx a lot!
Katharina

Hi Katharina and welcome to heroes!
The zoom region will always keep the aspect ratio of the slide, this is why you cannot adjust only one side.
That way, your zoom region will always fill the size of the slide.
If you want your zoom region to stay zoomed, just make it last until the end of your slide.
Hope it helps and don't hesitate to post back if you need further information.
Have a nice day!
Annie
Hi Annie!
Thanks for your quick response.
Ok, too bad, I just have the feeling it´s a little unflexible... at least for something I would like to do.
In the meantime I found another question
In Power Point you can use the Shortcut "F4" to repeat an order. Is there something similar in Storyline too?
Thanks a lot!
Katharina
Hi Katarina,
You have to remember that this is "Zoom", and not "Magnify".
There have been many requests for more Zoom flexibility, so hopefully (?) in the next version......

Can you use the zoom region on a layer? the function seems to be grayed out on the layer i'd like to use it on.
Hi Daniel and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! You are right, it's only on the base layer. You can check out some creative ideas in this thread though.
