Zoom Region question

Actually, it's two questions:
In Storyline, I've built a flow-chart using shapes and text. It's very busy and small because it's a complex flow chart, so I wanted to use the Zoom Region functionality.
- Does the Zoom Region functionality work on a page consisting of shapes and text? It doesn't seem to, because "Zoom Region" is greyed out.
- So I grouped them and saved it as an image, thinking that Zoom Region only works with a picture, and then reinserted the picture (PNG). But still the Zoom Region is greyed out.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks for any help!

Hi Rose,
Yes, zoom regions do work on a page consisting of shapes and text BUT can only be applied on the base layer of a slide and not on subsequent layers.

Ah, that would be the problem then. Thanks Antony. Gee, that's a problem then. :(
It is a problem and involves a clunky workaround of adding enlarged sections of your main image (that would appear in the zoom region) to seperate layers and adding triggers on the base layer to show the respective layers :-(
