Hi Lianne! Do you have a sample file you could share here? It would be helpful if we could see how the zoom is currently functioning versus how you want it to behave. Thanks!
I am using a map that the learner will explore. When they click to explore
a certain section I would like that section to slide to the center and then
expand. When they click the next section the map moves from where it now
currently is and expands, and repeat, repeat, etc.
The zoom region function kind of does it but it fills the full frame so I
lose my main interface header and footer and because zoom region is set at
the top of the timeline I can't even put a fake frame over top. And it is
hard to find the right spot to start the image at as there is now way to
see how the outcome will be without experimentation....
I attached a file how I would build it. First slide you have your whole map and hotspots (only did one on the treasure chest). If the user clicks on the treasure chest a new slide apears wchich looks the same but with a zoom region on it, it zooms in and the timeline pauses. When the suer clicks again on the hotspot the timeline continues, it´s zooming out and going back to the first slide with all the hotspots. Is this kind of what you want? I did a similar thing for my portfolio and faded the zoomed in slide to an other slide with text and added a zoom out slide.

Hi Lianne,
you could insert a zoom region, but you can´t customize the ratio, it´s always equal to the slide size. :)

Thank you for your message. It works exactly like I need it to but it zooms
out to the full frame size, over top of the course header and footer.
Is there a way to change that?
Thanks

Thank for sending a sample...unfortunately I am using version 2 and can't open it :(
Ah okay, I made a screenrecord for you which shows how I build it, maybe this already helps. :)
See attached file.
Thank you so much for sending that.
here is what I ended up building....
